The Communication Health Assistant (CHA)/ Behavioural Interventionist (BI) is dually trained as a certified BI and experienced CHA. They are able to carry out treatment plans as directed by the SLP for clients requiring regular intervention for speech sounds, receptive and expressive language, and social communication.

Angela Coelho is a Certified Behaviour Interventionist, a Certified Education Assistant and is going on seven years as a Communication Health Assistant. She has two autistic teens who both needed speech therapy (and other supports) when they were younger which is what started her interest in this field of practice.
